How Many Dead American Kids Will It Take To Get The Lead Out?

If CEO's were dropping dead, Sister McBitter could handle the grief. But the Outsourcing Gods of America are fat and happier than ever.

Meanwhile, those on the receiving end of American outsourcing are working on their third strike.

Strike 1) Good paying American jobs are being outsourced so that CEO's can show an almighty Next Quarter profit, and, America's children can go to hell along with today's Middle Class.

Strike 2) Many outsourced American jobs fuel China's burgeoning manufacturing economy, and China fuels its plants with coal. China's "deciders" are deciding to build more CO2 belching coal plants in a week than any other country on earth. CO2 contributes more to Global Climate Change than any other emission, and it's later than we think.

To make greedy CEO's even wealthier, we're poisoning the planet. Enough is enough. You would think. In baseball, you'd be out. But this is America's global business mentality where enough never seems to be enough.

Strike 3) In addition to having our American Middle Class gutted by short sighted CEO's ... In addition to ice bergs falling off Antarctica faster than Middle Class benefits in Glenn Tilton's Bankruptcy Court ... we now have Strike Three: Crappy products. How many dead kids, dead jobs, and days left to a dead planet will it take?

It's time for Sister McBitter to stop telling her Sister & Brothers to take action. Instead, Sister needs to hear WHO is willing to step up. Enough Is Enough, Brothers & Sisters. Sister McBitter is an Apple woman too, and she loves her iPod as much as anyone. But we ALL have to pull the damned iPods out of our heads, and hear another kind of music.

Here it is, for the millionth time: "Worker's Rights ARE Human Rights." 1) The right to a job IN THE U.S.A. 2) The right to decent pay (so we DON'T HAVE TO buy bullshit from Wal-Mart) 3) The right to affordable health care (for those increasingly numerous occasions when we are poisoned by outsourced manufacturing), and if god dammed CEO's like Glenn Tilton don't kill us before we get him, 4) The right to retire securely with pensions.
