    Fast Breaking News from Local 1782 PCE – June ‘09 

The members present at the membership meeting held on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 voted and carried the following:

 

·         Voted for Lost Time for Union Officers and Members in the amount of 100hrs or less to do regular monthly union business. 

 

The election for delegates nominated to attend the District Lodge 141 Convention in Las Vegas in September took place June 3, 2009 at Local Lodge 1782, 1511 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA. The following members won as delegates:

 

          Brenda Schaumkel             Ann Clifford            Marie Tirona           Scott Rothstein

 

           

Alternate delegates are:              Laura Halliday          Debbie Canning

 

Our next membership meeting is July 1, 2009 – those members present will be asked to vote on the following issues:

 

1.   The Executive Board recommends sending 1 EAP Coordinator to LAP (Labor Assistance Professionals) Conference in August, paying lost time, per diem, hotel and registration costs, total amount not to exceed $2000.00.

 

2.   The Executive Board recommends sending 2 Officers to the IAM Local Lodge Principal Officers Meeting in New York in August, paying lost time, per diem and hotel costs, total amount not to exceed $1700.00.
