About Local 1782
Local 1782, also known as the
Sierra Pacific Air Transport Local Lodge 1782, located on
the first floor of the Union Hall. The local lodge is shared
with Local 1781 (Ramp & Stores).
Local 1782 is the first
IAM local chartered solely for Public Contact Employees. Our
Local includes Customer Service Agents, Station Operation
Representatives and support staff of United
Airlines in SFO, SJC, OAK, RNO, and SMF; Southwest Airlines in
OAK, SJC, and SMF, and British Airways in SFO.
